At Auckland’s landmark Vero Centre, two large glass automatic doors were causing repeated faults, resulting in costly after-hours callouts and operational frustration. FM Concepts needed a long-term, reliable solution that wouldn’t disrupt tenants.
After detailed testing, ES Group identified that the original door operators were under-rated for the door weight. Heavy-duty motor upgrade kits were designed and tested at ES Group’s workshop. Installation was completed during the quiet period between Christmas and New Year to minimise disruption.
The upgraded system has eliminated recurring faults, improving reliability and reducing costs. FM Concepts were impressed with the planning, execution, and ability to deliver a complex upgrade quickly and seamlessly over the holiday period.
