BP Oil NZ is one of New Zealand’s largest retail fuel suppliers, operating a network in excess of 100 sites nationwide. Elite Services has held a long partnership with BP and they are one of our flagship clients.

In recent years we have seen an increase in the number of ‘smash and grab’ events at petrol stations. As these increased, BP sought a solution that would prevent the automatic doors being broken into, and most importantly provide safety for their staff on site.

As a solution, Elite Services developed an anti-bandit door set that replaced the traditional frameless glass door leaf with an aluminium frame construction with high strength anti-bandit glass panels. Along with other security features, the new door structure has dramatically improved the resilience of BP sites and provided increased safety for staff.

The door set was so successful BP implemented the system across their entire portfolio over a period of 4 months. Directly employed Elite Services technicians completed every installation and commission across the country.
